Hi, I’m Charlie.
Thanks for taking the time to visit our pages.
I’m cycling from London to Paris (and poss return but that’s a different story!) weekend of 5th-6th October. I’m doing this for CLIC Sargent a charity that helps youngsters and their families to deal with the day to day life after having been diagnosed.
In particular, they are linked with a local organization Living to the MAX, that offer help and advice locally with referrals coming from CLIC Sargent, set up by a local landlady who’s fabulous son Max was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
I only took up cycling in January this year, and want to challenge myself.
The distance is 250 miles with 190 ish miles cycling, all within 24 hrs.
The route is from London to Newhaven then off to France via a ferry to Dieppe, leaving there about 0400 hrs.
A quick uphill section should then leave a relatively easy downhill trip into gay Paris by early afternoon, to be met by any of you who want to!!!
